Nova Casa Vesta is a project in partnership with the municipality of Forest, thanks to ERDF funding.
Located in the commune of Forest, just a stone’s throw from Forest Park, the building will be renovated sustainably and comprehensively to provide community housing for 30 women with or without children. Particular attention will be paid to communal living spaces.
On completion of the work, the property will be rented out to the New Samu Social, which will provide support for the residents.
The role of Fair Ground Brussels
The property will be sold by the Commune de Forest to Fair Ground Brussels, who will carry out a thorough and sustainable renovation of the building. This complete renovation will focus on improving the building’s energy performance, using recycled or bio-sourced materials and, of course, improving the living and reception environment, with the aim of ensuring the project’s longevity.
